What Is The Difference Between Post Revolutionary France And The United States
There are many distinctive differences between post-revolutionary France, the United States’ version of democracy, and that of Ancient Greece. A main difference between the United States’ democracy, and post revolutionary France is that France uses a parliamentary system. “Appointed by the President of the Republic (Head of State), the Prime Minister is the Head of Government” (“How the Government Works”). The prime minister of France is in charge of the laws in France. In the United States, laws are dealt with by the legislative branch, and in Ancient Greece’s democracy, laws were dealt with the Assembly.
