What Is The Difference Between Jack And Ralph In Lord Of The Flies
Piggy:Brain of the group,represents wisdom and intelligence,friend of Ralph and one of the main character in the book.Tries to keep order in the group and obey the rules.The one who follows the logic but be mocked by the boys because of his fat body and lack of strength.He could not face his fears thats why in the end he died.
Ralph:He is not the strongest neither the most intelligent but athletic and charismatic. He is elected by the boys and first represantative of civilization,order and he is the first leader of the boys.The way of thinking could save the biys but he lost his dominance to Jack and his friends.Closest friend of Piggy.
Jack:The other boy who has the leadership skills.Savage,barbaric and egomaniacal. The leader of the hunters and choir.He leads the hunters and hunts animals.He is against Ralph's ideas and he wants to have all power.The more he becomes savage ,the more he is able to control rest of the group.In the end jack has learnt to use boy's fear of the beast to control their behavior.
