Queen Nefertiti is known as the most mysterious queen to reign in Egypt. There are various theories many from where she is from to who was her father. There’s a theory that says Queen Nefertiti may have been the daughter of Ay, who went on to become a pharaoh after King Tut’s death. Another theory states that she was a princess from the Mittani kingdom in Syria.No one knew about her childhood. There wasn’t any evidence as to who her parents were. In the twelfth year of her husband’s reign she disappears from any historical record. A theory states that she may have died at that point, but to oppose that some say that it is possible that she became her husbands co-regent under the name Neferneferuaten. Her importance was valued by her husband Akhenaten and he went out of his way to show her as his equal. As a queen she took a powerful role and showed herself the way that kings would.
