What Is More Important , Book Knowledge or Experience
Which is more important, book knowledge or experience?
It has been said, "Not everything that is learned is contained in books." Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important .

Can we obtain the whole knowledge which we need only through the books. The question has triggered a heated discussion among a large variety of people .admittedly i concede that the experience can provide us some special but precious knowledge or notions which can help us understand the objects more deeply . However, the range of knowledge provided by the books is much wider than experience .moreover the knowledge from books sever as the guidance or basis of our life’ experience. To begin with ,there is no denying the fact that some disciplines or skills must be mastered through experience .for instance, only through the knowledge about the swimming from books ,not from the experience of practice ,we could not master the skill of swimming. Besides , experience of practice can let us understand the knowledge more deeply and completely by virtue of the personal understanding or notion which we gained from our practice. Having recognized the merits of experience , however, the knowledge form knowledge is more important than experience in the virtue of following compelling reasons. First has something to do with the range of the knowledge .After all the individual’s energy and experience is limited.. therefore the books can provide us a much larger amount and variety of knowledge than experience did. consider ,for example ,sitting in the library ,we can virtually travel everywhere, some of which we can not afford to have a personal visit to, through graphic encyclopedia.
Second , the knowledge is the basic of personal experience .as a matter of fact, to some extent the knowledge from books is the collection of ancestors’ personal experience .on the one hand, knowledge from these brilliant
