George’s in LBJ George’s is a place on the Texas State University campus inside the LBJ student center. It was created to provide students a safe atmosphere to have a good time or just hang out and do homework. George’s offers a variety of games for students to play including Pool, Table Tennis, Air Hockey, and Foosball, Xbox One & PS4 games. Students can also go to George’s to watch TV and attend special events like UFC fights or Movie nights that are held there. In George’s there are many seating areas that are wheel chair accessible as well as a performing stage that has a ramp for wheelchairs. Students coming to George’s if not already on campus must park at the LBJ parking garage. The parking garage has a 103ft clearance that makes it easy for cars and vans to get clearance as well 17 accessible parking spaces marked with signs. There was only one water fountain available but it was the correct height and had a forward approach accessible. The passageway to the water fountain was clear of obstructions but the floor wasn’t slip resistant. To avoid any accidents maybe George’s can change flooring so that it’s accessible to everyone. George’s could possibly add another water fountain to make it easier for people to access the fountains and continue their day activities without waiting in line.
