What Is Dystopian Literature Like Equality 7-2521
I believe that Dystopian literature is popular right now among teens because. It shows the rebellious side of characters. It also shows how unique the main characters are, whether they are free or not it always shows them finding a way out of wherever they happen to be in the story, and they always survive because of their ability to adapt and use their mind to figure things out and find solutions to problems and challenges that they face, and overcome adversities.

In the book maze runner thomas is a rebel against WCKD. Much like Equality 7-2521 is a rebel against the brotherhood of equality so to speak. For example they both were told and instructed to just stay put and co exist with the others. Thomas how ever defies WCKD and finds a way out and kills one of the greivers. Equality 7-2521 defies his brotherhood and learns and becomes smart and falls in love and runs away and escapes the district (prison) where he lives to be free and live with his true love. …show more content…
In the book the maze runner thomas is sent up into the glade and is confused as to why the inhabitants have been there so long and haven't found a way out yet. Thomas then goes into the maze, against the rules of the glade and galley. He goes out there because he believes there is a way out and there is hope. And that is a huge similarity between the two stories because Equality 7-2521 escapes his home with the brotherhood of equality to be with his true love and for him to be able to go and learn, and be unique, and different, and be able to express
