Bungie Studios is a video game development company founded by Alex Seropian and Jason Jones in 1991. Along with the founding, Seropian met programmer; Jason Jones. Together, they released their first game; Minotaur: The Labyrinths of Crete in 1992 and sold 2,500 copies began the rise of their company. They are known most for the Halo franchise; grossing over 250 million dollars. From their success, the company has grown to 500 employees. After separating from Microsoft Gaming Studios, they are about to release a new game franchise called Destiny.

Halo 1 and 2 are available to play on the Microsoft Xbox and PC which are available to buy from the Xbox Live marketplace and some stores.
A big thing Bungie did to market Halo 2 was make a viral marketing campaign called “I Love Bees”. I Love Bees was an alternate reality game where users had to work together to solve puzzles, follow GPS coordinates to a location to help an AI fix itself. It was a tremendous marketing success for the game and receive many accolades and awards. With suppliers, Bungie will hand their games off to publishers and the publishers will send copies of the games to retailers and/or upload them to digital marketplaces like Steam, Xbox Live Marketplace and Playstation Network. There are risks with developing video games and Bungie has experience some of the risks in the past. With videogames being so complex, there tends to be glitches. Sometime in 2000, Asian versions of Bungie’s game; Myth II would erase the user’s entire hard drive. This resulted in a recall from Bungie which severely hurt them
