What Is Awesome? By: Justine Kozlof

Hacky sack is awesome and fun. Firstly, there is a huge variety of hacky sacks to pick from when purchasing a hacky sack. For example “The Aftershock” is an awesome freestyle sand hacky sack with a little bit of an extra pop for the tricks. It is 2.25inches and weighs 60 G. sand and cost $10.00. Meanwhile, “The Insanity” a personal favourite, has a 62 panel count mixed with heavy metal filler. It is 2.2inches and weighs 65 G. metal filler. It is great for tricks and stalls. Secondly, hacky sack is also awesome because of the amount of different games that can be played with a hacky sack. Survivor is a game played with a hacky sack. Survivor is when every three drops someone is voted out of the circle. The last two people in the circle have a hack off. Or there’s the games elimination, challenge, numbers, hockey hack and etc. The final thing that makes hacky sack awesome is the competitions that people may enter. The competitions are worldwide, anyone may participate. The most recent competition is being held this Friday. It is being held in Bergieres Luasanne, Vaud, Switzerland at Les Pied a Gilles. You can learn lots playing hacky sack. You’ll have so much fun with friends, family and other components. Hacky sack is awesome and I think it’s something everyone should try as a new experience if they don’t already hacky.

Although there is a steep learning curve, the practice mode and tutorials will help you out. Plus, it’s a fairly easy game, and you would be a pro within a few matches. Moreover, the controls are fairly simple, depending on your configuration. For example, R1 and L1 activate the skills, the left stick lets you move your character, while the right stick lets you adjust where he faces. The X button lets you jump - and yes, you can hop on the heads of your allies to reach high ledges either to escape or to catch up to a fleeing…

Quiz bowl is the one activity that I enjoy the most. I have been part of this club for the last 3 years and during this time have bonded with my peers and the two coaches. Quiz bowl has allowed me to explore my interests outside of the science subjects and has given me the opportunity to experience disciplines such as Literature and the Fine Arts, which otherwise I would not have considered exploring. Quiz bowl has allowed me to find a relaxing medium in which to enjoy learning and apply my knowledge, in contrast of the fast-pace and linearity of high school…

The story is relatively straightforward and you are never in any doubt about what you should do next. The game also doesn’t feature any type of backtracking, which is nice, but means that it can be completed very quickly. Further putting a damper on the longevity of the game is the fact that there is no “bonus” adventure to complete, which is a feature that we’ve almost come to expect from all titles published by Artifex Mundi. The only replay value comes from finding all the hidden origami and snowflake symbols scattered throughout the game, but even these aren’t that hard to…

When my group carried out the experiment on the day, we suceeded and proved our hypothesis correct. i think that one of the reasons that our group suceeded was that we work well together. But based on scientific principles, I think that as compared to other groups which also used a parachute in the project, the surface area of our parachute of our parachute was the largest. Also, instead of normal plastic bags used by other groups (FairPrice, BreadTalk, Giant etc.), we used trashbags as the material trashbags are made of a thinner material and do not weigh as much as compared to a normal plastic bag. Another reason that I think our group suceeded in our experiment is that unlike other groups, we cut the trash bag into a large piece of plastic before attatching the strings to each corner. While, other groups did not cut the plastic bags into a piece of plastic but instead, used the plastic bag in the form it is originally.…
