Freedom. Liberty of the person from slavery, detention, or oppression; The power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. Freedom, liberty, independence- these three words are the foundation of America. It’s what we were founded on and now rely on today.

Freedom isn't just a word. It's an action. We live in a country where we have many freedoms. Freedoms such as being able to speak out and say what you want to say. The freedom to worship and believe as you choose. We also have the freedom to choose, choose what you want to do and what you want to become. Freedom is more than a simple word, for it is a state of being that allows oneself to be themselves. With pride, many of us that live the “Land of the Free” fight now, always have and always will, for the independence that makes us equal and free.

Freedom, the breath of America, is something that we all should be so grateful for. If you really think about it, we are one of the few countries that have freedom, liberty, and independence. Sometimes we just have to use it wisely. So with the life I live right now being able to have this freedom, I am very thankful, and have God to thank for it.
