What Does It Mean To Have Goals?
What does it mean to have a goal? For me, it means working hard at something in order to accomplish it. From the moment I started TKD, to now, my goal has always been a black belt. It seems crazy that it’s coming up so soon. To be a black is honestly, such an honor. It’s definitely not something that’s easy to get. No, you have to work at it and learn and grow. To be a black belt is such an accomplishment. Looking back to when I first joined, this is all I ever saw ahead. Goals are not always easy to accomplish. When it comes to TKD I’ve had to work so hard to get to where I am now. It is not something that just happens over night. It has taken me six years to reach my goal and I am so happy it is finally here.

The programs I would like to be in are Computer Science at Freehold Boro, Medical Science at Freehold Boro, or International Baccalaureate program and Freehold Township. I plan on achieving this goal by studying hard, getting good grades, and always striving for more. Another goal I have set for myself is to make the playoffs this year in football. Much has been said and written in recent years about the value of goal setting and the importance of guiding our lives toward certain predetermined objectives. This process has taken on many of the aspects of an exact science. It has found expression in the world of education in the form of behavioral objectives, and in the corporate and industrial world it manifests itself in a "management-by-objective" philosophy. Some individuals feel that unless each hour of each day is programmed to achieve specific objectives, life cannot be lived to the fullest, and personal potential is being cheated. In fact, this general notion has become so universally accepted that to question the value of goal setting in the achievement of any public or private enterprise is no longer rational in the general point of view.…
