Freedom is something not a lot of places are fortunate to have, but luckily in America everyone has the right to freedom. What if your freedom was taken away, leaving you helpless? Sadly enough that is how many people feel, and how many people live. Sometimes you have to fight for your freedom no matter what the situation is. Two examples that show this include the texts “The Boys Who Fought” and “Holocaust Survivor Stories” show how many people during World War 2 were deprived of their freedom.…

Freedom is not something that anybody can be given; Freedom is something that people take and people are as free as they want to be. Benjamin Franklin, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States, states, "Those who desire to give up freedom in order to gain security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one." Basically, Franklin is saying that in any circumstances mankind should not forget about the most important thing in the world - freedom. Freedom is when people have the opportunity to pursue happiness without any barriers. Freedom "gives" happiness because the state of being free is aligned with our true nature. The more you are aligned with your true nature, the more you are well. To simplify this, I would say if we have freedom - we have happiness; if we lose freedom we lose happiness as well. I believe people are only able to value it, as far as they can acknowledge how much it's important to them. I really love and appreciate the opportunity to be happy, that’s why I totally agree with Benjamin…

The idea that America was founded off freedom was rooted in the man-given rights announced in the Declaration of Independence- that man was obliged to “unalienable rights” such as “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”(source C). Freedom is the ability for an individual to express his right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness under his individuality. However, in order for a society to be free, freedoms must be granted under certain circumstances. Our freedom in society must be limited to maintain a free and just society for all and to secure the well-being and safety of every individual.…

The dictionary definition of freedom is The state of being free or at liberty rather than in confinement or under physical restraint. But what is true freedom. In The American National Anthem, it claims that America is the “land of the free”, but what does that legitimately means. When you think of freedom, you think of the idea of being free, but that's not the case. If we are free, why do we have a government that watches our every move we compose on the internet. If we are free, why do we pay so many taxes and bills. If we are free, why do we have a lot of ridiculous laws that we have to follow every day. The point is that we are not actually free. Yes, we do have more freedom than other parts of the world, but we don’t have total freedom.…

The word freedom has a different meaning for different people. Freedom to me means being free from a single ruler who dictates and who goes by his own rules. Freedom has affected America immensely and has brought upon many individuals for the thought of having freedom for the first time. We sometimes take our freedom for granted and do not think of how people dream of having freedom. America has freedom because it was fought for and lives were taken for the future generations to come and enjoy the freedom that is limited in very few places on earth. Individuals that fought and helped in the wars had to endure the pain from the traumatic scenes from their experience. Freedom can affect you in many ways, from the way you think to the way…

The definition of freedom is the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint (Oxford Dictionary). For various people, freedom seems to be a gift given by our soldiers; others believe freedom remains to be a given right given by god, as the constitution says. People go through their lives, living day to day, not necessarily understanding the freedoms they have been given; by those who fight for us, give up their lives for us, and live for us. Whether it’s at war or at home, whether it’s the soldier that suffers or the family, and whether it’s the mind that breaks or the body. The price of freedom is pain and sacrifice paid by the soldiers of the United States.…

Freedom is priceless. Freedom means to love, live, and worship as you choose. Always remembering that this choice consists not only in doing what we like or want, but in having the right to do what we should. Freedom to me means to learn from my mistakes. If we did not have freedom we would not be able to worship our religion, speak freely, and assembly with others. Freedom is the foundation upon which our founding fathers built this country.…
