What characteristics make these essays expository? These essays are both expository because they are not based on opinion but based on facts about the topics. The type of organization the author used for “How to Clean Fish” was informative process. The essay is an informative process because it gives you a step by step method on how to clean a fish. Why do you think each author chose that type of organization for his or her essay? I believe the author of “How to clean Fish” chose the informative process because it was the best way to explain their examples to help the reader. I believe the author of “Cochlear Implants” choose time order because they used information from different periods in time. Also it used chronological information about the author’s experiences.
