This act covers the basis of multiple discriminating factors such as race, age, disabilities or religion. Employees must be mindful of discriminating acts such as offering promotion, benefits or failure to give pay raises because of a discriminating factor. Under Title VII expanded the protection to employers with 15 or more employees. The EEOC has the authority to sue in federal courts when it finds reasonable cause to believe to have a violation of discrimination.
