What Are The Key Aspects Of Social Wellbeing
Wellbeing is the quality of life of an individual that encompasses physical, emotional, social, cultural, spiritual and economic health. For instance, an example of physical wellbeing being comprised is getting injured, not getting adequate rest, nutrition or exercise. It is a common misconception that being unwell in one aspect of wellbeing will only affect that factor, however wellbeing is interconnected and dynamic in nature. This implies that it's constantly changing and one factor (eg; physical) can affect the other factors as well, such as being ill could restrict you from being social.

Elsa is a 16-year-old female who is in Year 11 at Parramatta High School, Parramatta and lives in Westmead.

In terms of social wellbeing, Elsa displays a strong sense of connection and empathy with the people around her, especially when it comes to her peers, friends and family. She can put herself in other shoes and is the first to offer a listening ear. She is sociable and loves to interact with her peers and build meaningful connections. She has a strong belief in regular health checkups, due to this she ensures that she maintains a good balance by visiting her GP regularly. She is improving her behaviours by getting adequate rest, for example she went from going to bed at 3 am to being asleep by 11 pm max. Nonetheless, she lacks sufficient exercise due to her hectic schedule. Elsa, however, partakes in incidental physical activity by walking to and from all her commitments. She also lacks in getting satisfactory nutrition by not eating enough and being healthy. Which in turn affects her immune system, leading her to be sensitive to illness. Factors such as fluctuations in the weather are out of her control and can cause her to get sick on a regular basis. To improve she needs to enhance her time management skills and incorporate healthy eating, and exercise into her
