What are the basic goals of marketing w
What are the basic goals of marketing?
The basic goals of marketing is to target people who an interest in your product or service. The real challenge of marketing is in finding people who are most likely to want what you are selling and then get them to buy what you are selling.
Take a good look at the products around your home. Why do you pick the brands you pick? It’s called product differentiation. If you want your product to stand out, emphasize a certain feature or aspect about the product that makes it stand out above similar products and markets. And of course the smaller the niche, the better the fit between your services and the market for it, which will lead to a long lasting relationship with mutual benefits.
Always select, read and use the resources of your target market and you’ll be able to predict with measurable success the trends and shifts in the market. You have to realize it’s the market that drives the sellers, so you can’t just sell anything you want. If the people don’t want to buy it or don’t see a need for it then it is a waste of time. Once you get the key data of convenience, price and quality, then tailor your product to fit to unlocking the doors to success.
These are just the most basic goals in marketing when you are trying to draw up a marketing plan.

In more specific terms, the American Marketing Association (2012) defines marketing as “the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large.” A simpler definition of marketing, as identified by the U.S. Small Business Administration (2012), are the activities and strategies that result in making products available that satisfy customers while making profits for the companies that offer those products. The key factor that all three definitions have in common is that the overall purpose of marketing is to appeal to consumers by showing them how a product or service can meet their needs and to influence them to purchase that product or service. A successful marketing strategy can catch a consumer’s attention and make the product or service stand out in a crowd of competitors who offer similar products.…
