What Are Nurses Pursue Professional Growth After Nursing School?
I agree that nurses should continue to pursue professional growth after nursing school. Whether mastering a variety of skills by working in different areas of nursing or continuing their formal education, advancing in skill and knowledge is important for nursing leaders.
The ANCC does not offer a certification related to my area of expertise that of clinical claim review nursing. I will have to wait until I have a management position to become board certified as a nurse executive.
You mentioned the ANCC certification for case managers. Will you be seeking certification?
