What about being prejudice? Prejudice is an opinion that has no reason, many times this can lead to offensive name calling. Prejudice is basically being biased. Think about the times where there was no equality among the colored people that is being prejudice. When stereotyping people have a mental picture of the group and the truth about them can be exaggerated. One thing in clear is stereotypes and misconceptions are not the same as being prejudice or discrimination. Discrimination has to do with how a person behaves with another. Most high schoolers go through some kind of stereotype because one way or another they are judged. A label is put on them. With adults the same thing can happen at work, people notice the way an individual does
