First reason is it is a smaller college than most colleges and universities in the area. The second reason is that they offer the same classes at Spoon that they offer at the other schools. My third and final reason is I don't have to travel out of town for my classes yet. These are the reasons i will be describing in the following paragraphs. Spoon River College has the most respectful, helpful, faculty that a school can have, i think. Upon coming to America my grandma has a cardiac arrest and she was sent to Rehabilitation Center. Visiting my grandmother, a fascinating thing I saw was Occupational therapist assisting my grandma to improve the ways that support her to progress the skill that will lead to achieving success in daily living, such as, motor, social, personal, academic and vocational. My grandmother was there for 25 days and I used to accompany her every single day to rehab. Through my observations with grandma in adult developmental disabilities, other like pediatric, and psychosocial therapy, I have seen that Occupational therapist can progress a person's standard of living and allow them to explore the greater level of freedom and their existence of being able to do things on their own. As a pre- Occupational therapy major I would like to offer my knowledge in the field where I could spend my time with people…

When I think of welding the first place I think of is John Deere. Now with all of the technology that we have it will not be long before it is the only thing making items. Welding producers have been working to create robotic welding software to work on their own. As people continue to create these robots they are using more flexible systems to create a larger quality of products to make. Most of the welding jobs are beginning to be take over with robotics; while all of the floor workers are used to putting their welding skills to the test they have transferred to automatic industrial welding robotics. While spot welding is a huge step in welding, these welds may not be as precise when put into human hands. The career that I have chosen to pursue is Human Resources Management. When I started out on the path of “what I want to be when I grow up” I started in a completely different line of work. I wanted to be a Nurse when I graduated high school. I enrolled in college and I worked at a children’s hospital. After a while I started getting burned out by working long hours and on the weekend and I started to wonder if this was the right career that I wanted to continue with. I was offered a position at a staffing company that tailored to physicians and nurses and I knew right away that I loved being in an office rather than taking care of patients.…

After attending the first campus along with ACC I truly believe I was being prepared to attend Texas Tech and to be apart of such a great physical therapy program. I love that there is a hands on program that helps you get a better visual of what you'll be doing in the work force. Truly it's encouraging to know that 100% of the students graduating are able to get a job after 6 months of graduating to a physical therapy facility. The most appreciating quality of Texas Tech , that the teachers, students, and aids will do everything they can to help you and keep pushing you to reach your goal to finish. To have attended a campus that doesn't value encouraging the students to keep going, not give up and that it's possible to finish and walk across that stage being proud to say you did it and your campus helped you…
