Wehling V. Dunc A Short Story
3 gunshots rang, as Mrs. Wehling woke with her triplets to find that she had the police at her her door waiting to tell her that her husband had just sacrificed his life and the life of Dr. Hitz and Leora Duncan. The widow Wehling was the headlines in every newspaper, Amber Wehling had just been released from the hospital.

The next day after she was released, the public was going crazy with anger in the rage that Mr.Wehling was the one who killed the doctor and Leora Duncan. The angry mob was not happy that in order for her kids to live her husband had to kill many important people.

The authorities had been interested in the case of the Wehlings for some time as 3 months fly by with no healing done. The police show up in the house of the Widow Wehling and her soon to be 4 month old kids, ”Is this Mrs. Wehling”, said the big policeman at her door, “Yes, why yes it is, how may I help you?” said the frightened Mrs. Wehling with her three kids at hand, “

The policemen took her kids to juvenile prison so they can be taken care of by doctors in incubators, and a judge took Amber to his office. “Amber, I know you are wondering why your kids have to be here longer than you, it's because we have something we want you to do in order for them to get out faster”, said the Judge in a confident tone, “ We want you to serve your 3 years and work the gas chamber for 2 years then we will let your kids out”.
