Yes, this source is reliable because I find it on University Library. When I started my sreach I made sure that I get reliable sources so I checked the box that said peer reviewed, this ensures me that the sources I use are credible. The authors also cite their own sources for what exactly they have written. This source uses more then only one point of view. The authors are both Professors in Communication; this gives them the credibility of talking about basically anything that is media related. This book is basically only a year old so I consider it somewhat recent it was published in a text book in the year 2011.

This information is relevant to the topic. The topic is why we need ethnic media; the article gives examples on why we actually need ethnic media and its roles in cultural influences as well as political influences. The article also talks about the difference in media for/by minorities, how each part has a different role, plus it states the ups and downs of each side of the venues.
