In this essay the author will be explaining how to be ethical as a healthcare manager. In this healthcare facility a research university wants to do research on the patients. In order to do this research the facility must give out patients files for specific diagnosis and population. This manager does not want any of their patients to be exploited and says no. The author will be explaining why this manager is maintaining high ethical standards. In this healthcare facility a research university wants to do research on the patients. In order to do this research the facility must give out patients files for specific diagnosis and population. This manager does not want any of their patients to be exploded and says no.
The author will be explaining why this manager is maintaining high ethical standards. As a healthcare manager there are five morally complex topics in healthcare management. They are medical errors, conflicts of interest, gender discrimination, physician impairment and workforce reduction. The manager believes that in order to improve managerial ethics in healthcare, more focus should be based on the structures of ethical decision making within organization. In saying that it will be discrimination if the manager lets them do research on a certain race. (Lombardi Schermerhorn J.R 2007)
