Wear Nerve Lab Report
There are three main nerves in your hand radial nerve, median nerve, and ulnar nerve. Each one of these gives movement and feeling to different areas of the hand. The ulnar nerve is one of the three main nerves in your arm. It travels from your neck down into your hand. The most common place for this nerve is behind the inside part of the elbow. The radial nerve descends down the arm with in the triceps with in the upper arm. Then moves down the arm within the humerus also known as the radial groove. As it enters the forearm, the radial nerve moves over the lateral epicondyle and then terminates by dividing into two branches. The deep branch which is the motor which is most of the muscles of the forearm. The Superficial branch which is the sensory nerve which will contribute to the sensitivity of my experiment. Example, if you touch a hot plate, your reflexes pull back your hand and your nerve simultaneously sends a pain signal to your brain. Sensory neuron take information from the skin to the brain. Freezing temperatures can affect the nerves causing the body to slow blood circulation to the hands and feet causing you to get a frostbite that means your nerves are frozen for a period of time. Tips to lessen the pain and lower your risk of further nerve damage. Wear warm dry clothes in cold weather. Protect your hands and feet by wearing socks, mittens, or gloves. Take breaks from the cold go inside to get warm. Why do you have a dominate hand. You have a dominant hand due to the division of labor in your brain. The preference people show one side of their body over the other this will be their dominant side of the body. What makes a dominant hand. Left-handedness is less common than right-handedness. Left-handed people are more skillful with their left hands when performing tasks. 10% of the world population is left-handed. Cross-dominance or Mixed-handedness is the change of hand preference between tasks also called

The sacral plexus lies in the back of the pelvis, between the piriformis muscle and the pelvis fascia and nerves coming from this plexus converge toward the lower part of the greater sciatic foramen and unite to form a flattened band, which continues primarily as the sciatic nerve. All nerves that root from the plexus either have anterior or posterior divisions and the posterior division has less nerves than the anterior. The posterior division contains the superior gluteal nerve (L4-S1), inferior gluteal nerve (L5-S2) and the nerve to piriformis (S1, S2). The anterior division contains the nerve to quadratus femoris (L4-S1), the nerve to obturator internus ( L5-S2), the posterior femoral cutaneous nerve ( S1-S3), Pudendal (S2-S4) and Coccygeal (S5-Co1). The sciatic nerve, which is the largest nerve in the body, is a combination of two nerves: the tibial nerve and the common fibular nerve.
