In life, everything is earned and nothing positive or good comes our way for free. We have to earn the things we want and sometimes do some things we don’t necessarily want to do. “We do what we have to do, so we can do what we want to do” is a famous, yet genuine quote that can be considered as a life lesson. This phrase is applicable to college students since it is not necessarily “fun” to study, go to class, and do homework. However, in order to achieve what we want in our future and become successful we must do what we have to do, which is finish a college career. We have to attend university, so we can do what we want to do in our future.
Since I was a child, I was always entitled to do my duties before having my rights. If I wanted to watch TV or go out and play, I always had to finish my homework before. This procedure was a part of my daily routine and made me become a more responsible person. This way of living since a young age has allowed me to be more responsible today and will be remarkably important in my future.
I remember I always aspired for excellent grades. I was a good/average student but I always wanted to be a straight A+ student. In order to achieve what I wanted, I had to make an effort and do what I had to do. I had to always do my homework and work beyond expected so that I could exceed my standards. I managed to achieve high honors and felt extremely happy and proud of myself. I was responsible, and I did what I had to in order to achieve get I wanted.
We must work, act and plan the things that we want. Very little things in life come for free and so that we can get what we want, there are certain things we must first accomplish. If you want to be rich, you must work hard. This phrase is very helpful for my future and my life. It is important both professionally and morally

Why We Do What We Do My teaching philosophy is best described by using the following analogy. A building does not stand tall for years on end without a good foundation. Weather its building a house, an apartment, a church, or a skyscraper, the foundation is the most important element for the building to stand tall for years. If a child can start out with the right knowledge to live a physically active lifestyle they have more of a chance to continue to live while being physically active. Pouring…

Players find themselves getting involved in whatever they are passionate about. Those who watch find themselves warming the bench, not contributing, and missing out. One important game we play in life is connected to altruism. Someone who plays in the game of altruism participates in service and doing things outside themself. Why do they act so selflessly? Human nature deals decisions that focus on the awareness of the conscious mind. For instance, free will enables humans to control and carry out their own decisions. Contrary to Freud’s belief, free will is dependent upon personal “motives, convictions, and intentions.” To specify, external forces do not completely establish human behavior…

The problem of free will refers to the examination of whether or not we as conscious beings have control over our own actions. French philosopher Paul Henri Thiry, Baron d 'Holbach argues that all acts are caused by past events and conditions, a belief known as determinism. Physical laws shows us that all events in time are determined by prior events, but the belief in free will implies that our actions are results from what we perceive as choice, are undetermined random events in time. Therefore…
