Introduction

Child comes on stage boldly declaring the word of God:

The theme of the Month of January: I will avenge my elect speedily- Luke 18 v 7-8

“And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

Testimony or learning as a result of the above:

Month of February: I will see the glory of God: John 11 verse 40

Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you

would see the glory of God?”

Month of March

Testimony:

Theme: Outstanding success is my birthright - Matthew 5 verse 13 -16

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavour, how shall it be seasoned?

It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are

the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Month of April

Music plays loudly in the background then gradually reduces whilst narrator begins narrating scripture.

Theme: I am riding the waves of glory by the Holy Ghost: Joel 2 v21-27

Fear not, O land; Be glad and rejoice, For the Lord has done marvellous things! 22 Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field; For the open pastures are springing up, And the tree bears its fruit; The fig tree and the vine yield their strength. 23Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you—The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month. 24The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. 25“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. 26You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. 27Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.

Theme : My case is different Genesis 47 v 15 -27

And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.16 And Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle, if money fail. 17 And they brought their cattle unto Joseph: and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the herds, and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that year. 18 When that year was ended, they came unto him the second year, and said unto him, We will not hide it from my lord, how that our money is spent; my lord also hath our herds of cattle; there is not ought left in the sight of my lord, but our bodies, and our lands:

19 Wherefore shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we may live, and not die, that the land be not desolate. 20 And Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the land became Pharaoh's. 21 And as for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the borders of Egypt even to the other end thereof. 22 Only the land of the priests bought he not; for the priests had a portion assigned them of Pharaoh, and did eat their portion which Pharaoh gave them: wherefore they sold not their lands. 23 Then Joseph said unto the people, Behold, I have bought you this day and your land for Pharaoh: lo, here is seed for you, and ye shall sow the land. 24 And it shall come to pass in the increase, that ye shall give the fifth part unto Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food, and for them of your households, and for food for your little ones. 25 And they said, Thou hast saved our lives: let us find grace in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh's servants. 26 And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth part, except the land of the priests only, which became not Pharaoh's.

27 And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly.

Theme: I am destined for glory: Romans 8 verse 29-30

For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Theme : God’s wisdom works: Job 28 v 7-28

That path no bird knows, Nor has the falcon’s eye seen it.8The proud lions have not trodden it, Nor has the fierce lion passed over it.9He puts his hand on the flint; He overturns the mountains at the roots.10He cuts out channels in the rocks, And his eye sees every precious thing. 11He dams up the streams from trickling; What is hidden he brings forth to light.12“But where can wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding? 13Man does not know its value, Nor is it found in the land of the living. Job 28:22 The deep says, ‘It is not in me’; And the sea says, ‘It is not with me.’ 15 It cannot be purchased for gold, Nor can silver be weighed for its price. 16It cannot be valued in the gold of Ophir, In precious onyx or sapphire. 17Neithergold nor crystal can equal it, Nor can it be exchanged for jewelry of fine gold. 18No mention shall be made of coral or quartz, For the price of wisdom is above rubies. 19The topaz of Ethiopia cannot equal it, Nor can it be valued in pure gold. 20“From where then does wisdom come? And where is the place of understanding? It is hidden from the eyes of all living, And concealed from the birds of the air. Destruction and Death say, ‘We have heard a report about it with our ears.’ 23God understands its way, And He knows its place. 24For He looks to the ends of the earth, And sees under the whole heavens. To establish a weight for the wind, And apportion the waters by measure. When He made a law for the rain, And a path for the thunderbolt, 27Then He saw wisdom and declared it; He prepared it, indeed, He searched it out. 28And to man He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding.’

Month of August

Theme: It is my turn for a turnaround: Isaiah 60:verse I -22:

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the Lord. All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory. Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows? Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the Lord thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.
0 And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee. Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought. For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee; The city of the Lord, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
15 Whereas thou has been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
16 Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactor’s righteousness.
18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time.

September :

I am the Lord that healeth thee: Exodus 15 verse 26

26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

October

In the month of October it was declared: It shall be well with the righteous: Isaiah 3:10

Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

Testimony: The children come on stage and begin to give testimonies of how they conquered sin: the lying spirit, the spirit of disobedience etc. How they had done the activity ‘Give it up’ in the Children’s church and since then given up all bad habits. How overcoming sin has affected their lives positively. How they had begun to keep right company, been baptized with the Spirit of truth and been blessed by God.

November Praise music plays. 2 children come on stage dancing to music. One steps forward and begins to speak while the other child continues to dance to the music in the background. When the child has done speaking both of them continue to dance all the way off.

Theme: it is my season of sudden visitation Act 16:25-26

Our Daddy in the house said that ‘praise is: disorganizing your body to please God’.

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

    • 2 Pages

The preaching’s of Jesus first announced that the Kingdom of God is within everyone, should they choose to acknowledge and accept its practice. However, the way towards its path is not easy, for each man must change his outlook, repent, and recognize that his time on Earth is not to accept material needs. This is addressed in a comparison by which Matthew declares, “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingly Rule of God” (Matthew 19.24).…

As I write, it is Holy Saturday. The latest issue of CPR arrived in this morning’s mail. Tomorrow I will proclaim the glorious and victorious resurrection of our Lord from the dead—the ultimate head-crushing of the devil. The events of Good Friday are fresh in my mind. As Jesus set his face toward Jerusalem with laser-like focus and intensity and stayed the course, the obvious, (albeit simplistic) answer for us is, likewise, “stay the course.”…

In the novel The Power and the Glory, Graham Greene sets up his readers to search for the power and glory represented in the novel. The title’s main words connect not only many of the characters and their chronicles, but to the teachings of the Sermon on the Mount. The Priest unknowingly lives out a life comparable to one of which is encouraged throughout the Sermon on the Mount. He pursues his calling through acts in kindness rather than running away, when persecution is near. The Lieutenant yearns for the death of the Priest to bring power to his name. With the death of the Priest, both the Lieutenant and the Priest achieve power, which leads to glory. Representing the model given in the Sermon on the Mount, the Priest, despite his sinful ways and shame makes himself vulnerable to his enemies. The Whisky Priest unknowingly shows God’s power and glory by giving up his old selfish ways and acting in love and mercy to those around him, instead of retaliation.…
