Drowning is the 3rd leading causes of death in the world. In 2011 nearly 1,000 people died from drowning. Children are more at risk of drowning in Australia drowning is the number one cause of death between the ages of 13 year old. In USA drowning is the second leading causes of death between the ages of 114 year old. What causes drowning not knowing how to swim, but other than that 90% of drowning take place in rivers,lakes, and swimming pool. 10% caused by seawater children have drowned in buckets,bath,and toilets water safety tips
1. Adults should be watching children swimming, playing, bathing in water 2. kids should never swim alone or unsupervised children should swim with a friend or someone
3. keep children away from bucket that has water fill children are able to drown in gallon bucket this sign show a warning that children can fall into the bucket and drown in some state it is mandatory to have this sign place on every bucket
4. learn how to swim take swimming lesson
5. dont be under the influence when you're swimming 6. know your limits if you can't swim in the deep end do go there stay where you're most comfortable
