The main cause of water pollution is human activities, which means the human being pollute the water by discharging the industrial, agriculture and domestic waste water. And the most serious part is the industrial waste water because of the large quantity of waste water and the difficulty of treatment. What’s more, we cannot ignore the influence of the pesticide and fertilizer from agriculture.
While not all the countries are facing the water pollution problem, it is a question for the whole world. Because of the large population and global climate change, the quantity of water resource has been declined. In addition, the developing countries should be more responsible for the water quality management. With the high speed of development, they may focus more on the economic interest than environmental interest.
