The center hikes the ball and just like before, he gives it to the running back. Everyone in the stands trying to look past all the players on the field to see where the ball is going. Suddenly, we see a black jersey come out of a pile of other jersey. As fast as lighting Greene County is running down the field aiming for a touchdown. The announcer once again “he’s at the thirty, the twenty, the ten, touchdown!” That seals the deal with only a minute left until halftime. Washington Wilkes fans sits with disgust all over their faces. Our rivalry that thought were going to blow us out, now has to go into half-time with a tied game.
