Many people wonder today if Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s New Deal was a success and many wonder if it was a failure and didn't do what it was meant to do. Roosevelt restored the confidence in the American people after hard times with president Hoover before. My thought of The New deal is that it did some good but failed to get the US out of the depression which was the main goal of The New Deal

The New Deal was a success to some of the Families and groups. The New Deal Was a success because it created millions of jobs all across the USA (Kantor Website). This Excerpt shows that even though it created millions of jobs it still failed its main goal. Another example of how it was a success is because it Helped with Relief, Reform, gave new roles to women and African Americans (Kantor Website). The New Deal did help and benefit the African American people and the Immigrants from other countries. I do believe that the new deal did help the United States but failed to end its main goal which was to end the Great Depression. The New Deal was the most costly government program in American History and some of its projects were accused of wasting money (Kantor Website). This shows that not only did it fail to get the US out of the depression but it wasted money and was one of the most costly in US history. Some government programs did help some people but also hurt some people.
