VOIP has proven itself a worthy technological advance that will continue to re-shape the calling landscape in coming years. III. Conclusion g. Recommendation – I would highly recommend a switch from landline telecommunications to VoIP for the following reasons: xviii. Using VoIP can significantly reduce telecommunication costs - Operating costs for VoIP service providers are significantly lower than for traditional phone companies, which must contend with the existing, expensive-to-maintain phone infrastructure and costly industry regulations. xix. VoIP service makes the phone system highly flexible as it allows you to do things that are simply not possible with traditional phone technologies. For example: 1. Use VoIP system anywhere as long as you have access to a broadband connection. 2. Get voice mail and faxes forwarded to your email 3. Get virtual phone numbers h.
