Vishsen City: A Short Story: Bishamon City
Bishamon city. The city that has not been defeated in any wars since 1500s. It is now the year 3023. The name “Bishamon” came from a great god they believed in. The residents believed that Bishamon was a war god who had never lost wars and he was kind and caring to others. Jun Tei was a young teenager form Crystal High. The young man had been treated like he didn’t exist! He had suffered more pain than anyone in the school, and sometimes he thought he would end the pain if he ended himself.
Bishamon had been in the classroom staring out the window and looking at the cloudy, cold weather. Then he realized that the weather was like his feelings. He thought about it for a moment and felt even more depressed. The only thing he ever wanted was

Jun looked at him and he nearly laughed as the new kid looked like a clown. The teacher said, “Class, this is Rex Chi”.
Everyone laughed because of his appearance. He had curly afro hair, freckles on his face and a long noise. Rex was seated next to Jun, so he said, “Hi.”
Jun replied, “Hi, where you from?”
“I’m from the 12th district. How about you?”
Jun was shocked! He said to Rex, “Really? I’m from the 11th district!”
They both were surprised. They had a conversation all day until home time. After school they became good friends, and walked home together.
Jun was beginning to enjoy life with the new friend he had made yesterday, he felt great waking up this morning. He quickly ate breakfast, got ready and went straight to Rex’s house. He knocked on the door and Rex and he left the house.
They arrived at school and everyone was staring at them and laughing, Jun said, “Ignore them.”
Rex replied, “Don’t worry, I know”. And continued to walk bravely on.
The bell rang as loud as the fire truck siren. It was recess. Jun and Rex sat under a tree talking about their hobbies. A tall, and mean looking face was walking towards them, and the face said “Get out of my

He stood up and said, “No go find your own spot!”
The guy called out to his friends and began landing punches into Jun’s chest. The bell rang. The punches stopped. Jun got up and screamed, “Aren’t there any teachers here? Who can help us or stop the fight? You guys are all bystanders!”
Rex replied, “Don’t worry, I’m not scared!” Just as he said this, Jun cried out in happiness, and then Rex comforted him and they both went on with their day.
Jun arrived home and took off his shoes. His mon and dad came out and said, “Welcome home. How was your day?” Jun didn’t even bother replying so he went upstairs and into his room. Jun suddenly woke up and checked the time. It was 6:30pm. Jun went downstairs and was ready to eat dinner. As he went to the table, he heard loud noises. His parents were fighting. They were shouting at each other. Jun cried suddenly and went upstairs to his room and shut the door. Getting out his pencil case, a pen and a piece of paper, he then started writing. He was crying on the bed. His mom and dad ran upstairs to talk to him, after hearing the sobs. They were thinking of a divorce and asking Jun who he’d want to stay

"The bell rang and we went to our next class, each of us knowing our classmate was in the locker, but none daring to open it up to let him out. I don't know if he yelled for help, if he banged on the metal locker to get our attention, or if he remained mute like that woman in the movie 'The Pit and the Pendulum.' Her locker was riddled with sharp spikes ready to pierce her when she could stand no longer. So he had it way better."…

32 “Well its actually happening ma’, I’m goin’ back to school.”Rufus said. “I want you to know, I truly am proud of you Rufus.” His mother replied. Curtis and Janet went to a different school then Rufus but he still walked them to school then walked himself to school. On his way to school a car followed him very slowly but Rufus kept walking. When he got to school it looked the same on the outside that it always had. Rufus pushed open the doors at Searingtown School and yelled “I’m back!” All of his friends ran over to hug him. He went down to the office to get a tour he thought he didn’t need because he remembered every single solitary thing about this place. While the tour was going on everything going on was a blur. He looked left, right and left again, admiring the changes the school had made. “Wow” he sighed. “Is there a problem Rufus?” the tour guide asked. Rufus answered, “When I was here the wall paint was all chipped, there were broken windows and holes in the walls.” “Oh ok, well that concludes our tour and this door on your right is your first period class.” The tour guide replied. Rufus walked in and sat at an available seat at the back of the class room. He opened his notebook and took notes even though he didn’t understand anything that was going on. By the time 5th period came around it was time for lunch he was starving. All of his friends called him over and asked him to sit with him. Momma didn’t make him a big lunch because they didn’t have that much food in the house and then needed to split it 3 different ways. Allison who used to have a big crush on Rufus sat right next to him. Mitchell and Charlie sat across from him and Christina, Alisha and Sammy sat around them. When the bell rang he went to his locker and when he got to class he looked out the window and saw the same car that followed him to school. The only person he thought of was Simon. But he didn’t have a car? Rufus ran to the office to explain the…

The class started with breakfast which included, toast, bacon, fruit, and milk. During breakfast all of the children were allowed to pour their own milk and serve themselves one scoop of fruit. As the children were eating they talked among themselves about how their mommy would come back at the end of the day. The girls began arguing about whose mother would return, they shouted at one another, “No my mommy is coming back!” the other child replied, “No my mommy is coming back not yours!” The teacher ended the argument, but as the debate about which mother would return ended, the boys began using pretend guns with their toast. Three of the boys had chewed their toast into the shape of guns and again the teacher had to redirect the boys because the child care center does not allow children participate in any violent activities. As the teacher redirected the boys, they all stated, “we are not making pow pows”.…
