I am seeking the Villanova School of Business Merit Scholarship because my outstanding record of academic achievements, my work experience and my life story show that I am a deserving candidate for this honor. Nonetheless, thanks to my ambition, perseverance and hard work, I have exceeded all expectations. I am a natural leader and I have years of professional experience, including managerial roles. And I also created two startup companies before I turned 25.

I was also working around 10 hours a day. There were many days that I would go to work for eight hours, go to class at six in the afternoon and go back to the office right after class. Nevertheless, I graduated in 2016 with a 3.58 GPA.
In conclusion, I am a deserving candidate for the Villanova School of Business Merit Scholarship – it will be money well-spent. I have earned every one of my successes with sacrifices, resilience, and even some tears. I am absolutely decided to confront graduate school in the same way I had confronted all the challenges in my life. I guarantee that I will put all my passion and perseverance in successfully completing the

Throughout my four years of high school, I have consistently pushed myself beyond my limits and comfort zones in attempt to discover my place in the world. I spent most of first two years discovering who I was as an individual, ultimately manifesting into inspiration for success. I grew out of “fitting in” and decided to turn my life and aspirations towards a greater direction; on this road of discovery, I separated myself from those who valued arrogance and indifference. “Nerd Squad” is what I am a part of today, which is why I am currently confident enough to apply for the National Honors Society Scholarship. I believe I have grown into a tenacious, sympathetic, and joyous young man that the entire school has seen develop, and I am honored…

“The future belongs to the discontented.” I agree with this quote because the future definitely does belong to the discontented. In my opinion, the discontented represents everyone. No one can truly ever stay content for long without wanting to better their current situation. Even the richest man in America, Bill Gates, still feels the need to change the future – his and the world’s. I think it is great that the future belongs to those who are dissatisfied, and I believe that it does because of many reasons such as human nature and the American Dream.…

To conclude, this academic scholarship is awarded to students, like myself, who are hard workers and strive to be successful similar to the former president, CEO, and Chairman of American Savings Bank, Robert T Kenney, who this scholarship is named after. Like Kenney, I am a child of immigrants and I have also been instilled with the values of hard work and education. I know how difficult it can be to afford a college education, but the Robert T Kenney scholarship has helped me to become involved at ECSU and excel academically. Therefore, I believe I should receive a renewal scholarship in order to advance my academic career and in the future give back to other young scholars in my…

The main mission of Berkeley City College is “to promote student success, to provide their diverse community with educational opportunities and to transform lives” – this is what exactly required Edmundson during the process of teaching his students (Edmundson, 1997). As he puts it in his work that he did not wanted to hear that student enjoyed his class and discipline, but he needed to know that his classes challenged the students and changed their lives. He also points out that students needed some jokes or interesting facts at the beginning of the lecture or an interesting question in order to provide investigation but he wanted that students rather make a difficult way through studying and required his students pay a lot of attention and…

The college that I decided to research is called Florida International University or FIU for short. I feel like this college is appropriate for me because many of the amenities available fit my liking. The school has a very large campus and plenty of students to make new friends with, and is located in the heart of Florida. Florida’s weather is similar to Arizona’s, with the exception of humidity, making it feel just like home. There are many extracurricular activities at this college such as sororities and fraternities, a radio station, student council, and much more to keep me busy outside of my studies. This college also has a minimum GPA of 3.4 or greater, allowing me to be surrounded by students who value their education just as much as I do. I think FIU would be a great college for me to consider applying to because it has much of what I look for including size, location, academic and extracurricular programs.…
