Every day I see this commercial, by Victoria’s Secret promoting their bra, underwear, lingerie and perfume. There’s one thing that stands out beyond the merchandise Victoria’s Secret: All of the models are skinny, there’s not a plus size model in sight. I shake my head in shame because, even though I am all about positive body image, I am surprised at the lack of plus size models in the fashion industry and namely this brand. I am not the only young woman who’s concerned about this issue, as my younger sister who’s not even fifteen years old yet, is concerned about how people will perceive her in the future. Yasmin always yells, “Why don’t they make any clothes for big people?! I have enough perfume and sleepwear!” I’ve decided to drum up my own
