Van Noord Arena Research Paper
It is the rivalry game day of the Calvin verses Hope basketball game and it has made known to us that aliens are coming down to earth to paint our gym Hope's colors—blue and orange. It is imperative that we stop this embarrassing display and save Calvin's arena from being painted the opposing team's colors. In order to stop the aliens from painting the Van Noord Arena, my group and I have come up with a survey that selects only the best and fastest students to stop the aliens' evil plan and send them back to Hope's campus with Calvin's own colors. One of our professors, Dr. Jones, wants to join our team but we don't know if we should let him in or not. Below is the steps my team and I took to see who exactly should be allowed on the team

Various types of crops are grown each year, including onions, carrots, cabbage, potatoes and peas. However, majority of the farms are allocated specifically for onions and carrots as they are the most popular crops and bring in the most revenue. Prior to 1954, the Holland Marsh went through various stages of change. Before the 1900’s, the Marsh was a source of food for aboriginals and european settlers who would also fish and hunt. In the early 1900’s, talks about draining the Holland Marsh for agriculture use began to arise. Eventually construction began in 1925 and a canal system was created to divert the Holland River.…

Emmy the chambermaid stole the necklace because she was jealous. First of all, the glass from the broken window in the door is scattered outside the room. This shows that the job was clearly done from someone on the inside. It’s important to notice this because it rules out the neighbor as the criminal. For if it was Honore’ Schmidt--coming into the hotel room from the balcony--the glass would have to be inside the room from him punching the glass in. That leaves only Emmy and Mrs. Van Bliven herself. So the second reason is that the chambermaid has a more realistic reason to have stolen the necklace. And that is jealousy of Mrs. Van Bliven’s wealth. From what can be acquired from the description of the woman and the crime scene itself, it is no secret that Horatio Van Bliven is a rich lady. Not to…
