Microsoft must make sure that they are producing a better, more accessible product for less money in order to accomplish their goals for their operation management. Their technology investment consist of their software and hardware, which they must be top of the line. Their customer support must be efficient and successful with as few escalated calls to managers as possible, and they have to ensure that their marketing and advertising is in the right place in order to push and promote their products to the public 's interest. The company creates information systems. It contributes every day and often with the best technology that is currently available. They are at the forefront of the information industry. Their research is growing the information systems industry. The company and the information systems have a symbiotic relationship. The company creates the software, which it then uses to help develop newer and better software.
