Using Pesticides And Herbicides In Silent Spring By Rachel Carson
In a desperate attempt to protect the foods growing farmers use toxic chemicals such as Pesticides and Herbicides. Herbicides are used to stop the growth of weeds; while Pesticides are used to keep away crop eating insects. Living near toxins negatively affect our environment, health, and animals. What the general public and farmers do not understand is how bad the damage is deconstructing our earth and health. Recent studies conducted by scientist all over the world illustrate to the public how harmful these commonly used toxins are. According to Rachel Carson's landmark 1962 book " Silent Spring" , everyday scientist are finding new threatening discoveries .
