The very first thing that came to my mind regarding the answer to this question was Bethel’s high moral standards as a Christian university for all students they serve. Plagiarism is a growing epidemic in today’s academic world. Whether it was done intentionally or not, every student needs to realize that plagiarism is essentially theft. To avoid this occurrence, I always try to remember how I would feel if someone else was to take full credit for my work. Throughout the entirety of my higher educational journey, I have always used MLA formatting. Utilizing APA formatting will be a completely new thing for me to undertake and learn.
