I have found CPD a useful tool with which to stretch and challenge myself to do things that I would not otherwise choose to do. CPD will help me to discover my preferred learning style, my needs from training courses or sessions, ideas and knowledge and making me think about my future career direction. It will help me to drive my future by linking learning to actions and theory to practice.
Adds-value, by reflecting it will help me to consciously apply learning to my role and the organisation’s development.
As i am a Director of HR & Employee Relations i will be responsible to be a key player to develop my area and my team in the organisation from what i have learned and planned during my study and membership. It will be good chance to improve myself and my organisation.
Knowledge is the body of information needed to perform a task. • For example, Human Resources Knowledge include knowledge of personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labour relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
Skills are the proficiency to perform a certain task.
• For example: skills in interview the candidates.
Behavior represents the things employees do - their physical activities or their reactions. For example: smiling when helping the customers.
My needs to develop my self:
1. I need to get more knowledge about how I can develop the structure in my organization, and I think I can reach my aim by request detailed information from each Section Head which provides the key activities of their section as well as the detailed activities carried out by each of the employees in that Section. Review the feedback on the Sections and determine what each section should be accountable for going forward. Create a proposal which outlines what each section will be responsible going forward. Also I will need to Input from the Section Heads in my area to challenge my thinking, Support from the Section Heads to the proposed...
