Upperclassman Year In High School
There is a lot of basics to survive your freshman year. You have to try to stay on the good said with the seniors. Occasionally, the upperclassman will pick on you because you are the youngest in the school. Also, try to do your work in the high school. This is not middle school anymore where the teachers just tell you the answers. Starting your freshman year, start looking at colleges and what you want to be when you graduate because colleges will look at that with your grades. Don’t think all the upperclassman is friends with you because just because they talk to you doesn’t mean they aren’t going to pick on you for being the youngest. Try to stay on the teacher’s good side too because they don’t always let you return in late work especially

One piece of advice I would say is don’t chew gum. It probably seems really stupid but do it it will save you because teachers might write you up. You probably should avoid groups of people in the hall’s because if you get in there way and they get mad you probably will end in a fight and that is probably what you shouldn’t do. Seventh grade might seem really hard but with eighth grade the test get harder, and the teachers aren’t lenient. Also in eighth grade the teacher mold you to make you ready for high school. Another thing that teachers hate is when people stand in groups of hall’s, when you're in a group in the hall it slows everyone and makes them late. Another piece of advice is make sure you're always on time to your classes. I say…

One thing that I learned was the importance of teamwork and how it can affect each individual participating as well as the team as a whole. There was so much drama and contention the the team that year so it was hard for everyone to work together and be united as one. Another lesson I took from that year was how having a positive attitude can make or break any experience you may be going through. If you have a negative attitude it not only affects you but it also affects those people around you which isn't very good for a whole team. Freshman year also taught me how to put up with people I don't particularly like just for the sake of not creating any drama and keeping the team as one. At times I wanted to quit so badly because the year was so hard but I realize now that if you endure some things to the end then you will feel more accomplished in the…

I remember the first day of my freshman year, I was scared walking into the school. I wasn’t scared to go to classes, but I was scared of the upperclassmen, especially the ones who were on the football team. After the first week though, I learned that I wasn’t much different from them and that they weren’t bad at all. So one of my advice would be not to listen to all the rumors you hear about upperclassmen and freshman hazing; those are just rumors spread around to scare people. Don’t be afraid to talk to upperclassmen if you have a question or anything.…

For most students, Senioritis won’t appear until the later years of high school, most likely the end of junior year and of course during the senior year. For the most part, I don’t think people just become lazy and de-motivated overnight but Senioritis is more of a thing that you adapt through your high school years. Many students try to make their senior year the easiest by doing everything they can for the first three years, so when their senior year comes around you’re not totally swamped with schoolwork. Usually, some seniors get out at the end of fifth period, and some are out of school after lunch. Despite contracting ‘Senioritis’ many students don’t get Senioritis because they’re just so pumped to get out of high school and keep moving…

Things that I have learned so far about high school is that the more you will realize who your friends are they will really start showing you their “true colors”. Furthermore balancing the workload is a very hard task because you have extra curriculum and other responsibilities dealing with your household. Being in high school you aren't going to get pampered or a teacher constantly coming to you, tell you that you have work due , missing assignments , being in class on time and keeping up with your grades . Also , I have learned that you shouldn't wait unit the last minute to turn work in or ask for extra credit , most certainty you shouldn't wait until the day before the due date to turn in your assignments . By having other classes that will be due…
