'Unpack Your Heart': Song Analysis
I chose this song primarily for the reason that it adequately expresses how I view romantic relationships and what I would aspire to have in a relationship. This song speaks particularly to being open in communication and feelings within a relationship, as well as being comfortable with yourself. Additionally, it addresses to not be ashamed of your past, and to be able to trust that the other person within your relationship will accept you without judgment. I feel that this song promotes a friendship-based relationship, which is the type of relationship that I prefer.
Secondly, I am just fond of this song. Phillip Phillips is an excellent musician and artist, and he has been one of my favorite singer/songwriters for several years. As we all know, he was an American Idol winner. Since his big win, he has

We are all human, and we all make mistakes. We all need people who will always be on our side, regardless of anything that happens. That does not necessarily mean that they will condone poor behavior, but always knowing that the person will not leave you if you make a mistake is reassuring. It is also important that you support each other in the ups and downs, and to never discourage one another. Another aspect to this part of the songs that is appealing to me is when the lyrics say “into your darkness, I’ll shine a light.” This is important to me, because I interpret it as bringing out the best in one another. I believe that the idea of making each other the best you can be can potentially be one of the coolest, most special outcomes or benefits of a

I enjoy listening to this song anyways as it is in my native language and one of my top childhood songs. The song is about a couple who is in love with each other but when the guy has to leave for the US, they broke up. He later returns and the love is still there. This is a very cute story and I love singing the lyrics that describes his feelings for her as he was away. If I broke up and get back together with my boyfriend, I would want this to be our scenario, that we broke up and got back together because of distance or circumstances, not because we wanted this. I also love how there are english lyrics sung with deep emotion in the song: “I will be back for you.” The music video for the song is also very heartwarming and brings a smile to my face whenever I think of it. If I got back together with my ex, I could listen to this song to remind me of my feelings for him. This song is a great song that evokes strong emotions from me and makes me think about love and how strong it is to overcome lots.…

That is one of the problems with the world today. Society has grown so accustomed to things like big, rich music and luxurious technology that they feel like they need impressive things. The simplicity of the song is what drives the message of the song home the most. Everything in McKenna’s lyrics are simple things that parents have always told their children. This song is a reminder that to live a great life, sometimes the simple things matter the…

Before I start this analysis, I would like to point out that this interpretation of this song will be biased in two ways. I am a Christian and my interpretation will be based on my beliefs. My second bias is that I think that this band is one of the most lyrically powerful bands ever and is honestly probably my favorite band right now.…

. This song is about someone having to live up to the expectations someone else wants for them. They are pressured into having to be exactly like that person. They are nonstop always being smothered, and absolutely hate the fact that they cannot be who they want to be. They eventually get tired of listening to him/her and start living to their own expectations.…

This song portrays how we as Americans should represent our country, soldiers or not. We should be proud to be Americans and represent our country in the best possible way. It also shows that we should be there for each other, to stand beside each other and to do what is right. If only all Americans could have the bond for each other that our soldiers have, we would be a much better country. They fight beside each as brothers and sisters for our country and protect our rights.…

My most listened to song is Alex Days and Carrie Hope Fletcher’s rendition of Faith Hill’s “This Kiss”. It tells of a story about two people who fall in love. Before they found each other, they were hurt by previous relationships but when they meet, they spark an indescribable romance. Throughout the song, they symbolize their love by their kiss. This song does support my values of commitment, happiness, and love.…

It’s always said to be what fills the American dream, and by that I mean music. Music is what takes you to places that only can be found in your mind from a song. I wanted to write about this album because it’s one of the best albums as far as looking into meanings of songs. All Luke Bryan’s songs have a story behind them; besides the first one on the album, which is My Kinda Night. I also have learned a lot about him, just through following him on Twitter. He is a huge family man, which is very impressive to me and makes me want to listen to him that much more. He is what I consider to be your typical southern guy. Like myself he believes in having family first and career second.…

I have a very deep understanding of this song because “I hope you dance” has helped me through some extremely difficult times. I was homeless at the age of sixteen and ready to give up on the world when I first heard this song playing over the radio. With the help of Sillers words I was able to find the inspiration inside myself and keep going to school even if it meant sacrificing a day of pay from missing work. I knew that although things would be extremely difficult to attempt to be able to work enough hours to get my own place and attend high school on a regular basis, but with the help of her words I found the motivation within myself to give it my all. After three months I had saved enough money for the deposit and first month’s rent and my grades we’re decent enough for me to graduate on time with the rest of my peer’s. Now that I am more stable things have become less difficult, but whenever I am having a hard…

The first song talks about how I have made mistakes in my life with the people that were so close to me. It reminds me of my mistakes I did when I had my girlfriend. I did some stupid things and my action made her to break up with me. Well this song I called “The Reason “by the Hoobastank. It perfectly explains all of my flaws I have done in my past and will not commit in the future. The same story goes to the close friends I had and for my foolish act I lost them too. Well this not only explains my mistakes but the next one talks about me not giving up.…

I choose to write about this song because it reminds me of the time when I was in seventh grade and bullied for the first time in my life. I was new to this country and I didn't know my way around and what to expect from the people as well. I was a bit nerdy too so the "cool" kids always picked on me. It was not like physical bullying but it was like mental torture and scaring me to get what they want. They would copy my homework and take my notes and always cheat of me in test and quizzes. I was really afraid to tell anyone because they would threaten me and…
