United We Stand Divided We Fall Analysis
This phrase is often used throughout our daily lives. Wether in our essays or applied in our daily activities but, what does it mean? This phrase means that unless the people are together, they will be defeated.
Theres a story that can be related to this topic. There was a jungle-trekking activity being held by an Eco-friendly club. During the trip, they were seperated in to 4 groups. Since this activity is to train them well, the first 2 groups went in to the jungle separately and find a way out. They were given walkie-talkies to communicate but may only use it for 5 times.
The first 2 groups are mostly the juniors and 2 seniors in each group t help them. The second 2 groups are all seniors so they went in t the jungle during the night session. The obstacles were even more challenging …show more content…
They argued and soon everyone was stressed out. The leader decided to use the walkie-talkie and quit the challenge since it has gotten really late.
The next morning, medals were given to the winning team and a hamper was given to the teams that didnt end the game, as a token of participation.
From this story, we can see that if the phrase “united we stand,divided we fall” is applied to our daily lives, jobs or tasks can be completed easily with the cooperation of every teammates. A teams problem is usually because of some teammates that disagree,ignore or refuse to cooperate together. To make it work, every team members must follow the rules,cooperate and lending a helping hand to the ones in need. A leader of a team must always be flexible, wise and responsible. He or she must consider other members opinion and not make decisions on their own. This will lead to unfairness and therefore cause problems.
