What are the benefits of the United Way of Regina Summer Success program? The Summer Success program reinforces early literacy development and education in childhood.
BACKGROUND
The United Way Centraide Canada is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1917. It is committed to improving and supporting the lives of all individuals within Canada’s local communities.
• The current mission of the United Way Centraide, known as the Community Impact mission, is to improve lives and build community by engaging individuals and mobilizing collective action.
• Donations from individuals and organizations within the local communities serves as the main source of revenue for each United Way Centraide and about 85 percent of these funds are reinvested
