If there is more demand online they would know that they need fewer checkouts and need more personal shoppers. If Tesco have an expansion they would know there is more vacancies because more shifts need to be covered. There a quite a few jobs which people do at Tesco. the lower level jobs are going to have a more simple description whereas the higher levers are going to be more complex and it is likely that they will change over time but the lower levels probably won't. tesco goes with this by rating the jobs in levels, level 1 are the frontline jobs working directly with customers.
