0-3 MONTHSS
RELEXES ICLUDING SWALLING AND SUCKING, RROTING,GASP, STARTLE AND WALKING AND STANDING REFLEXES AS THEY REACH AROUND ONE MONTH BABIES BECOME LESS CURLED UP AND WILL BECOME LESS STARTLED.
BABIS WILL RECONISE THE SMELL AND SOUND OF MOTHERS VOICE AND ONCE REACHING AROUND A MONTH MAY START TO RECONISE THE VOICES OF OTHER FAMILIAR PEOPLE.
BABIES USE CRYING AS A FORM OF COMUNICATION USING IT TO IDENTIFIY WHEN they are hungry tired or distressed at around 5-6 weeks babies may start to make cooing noises
Babies enjoy close contact with main carers in the first month when babies reach 5-6months small smiles when asleep may start to appear
3-6 MONTHS
At 3 months babies start to lift and mover their heads at 6 months babies laying on their fronts may lift arms and leg in the air looking like parachutist they will start to be able to support themselves with sitting in a high chair and will be beginning to roll over.
At 3 months babies will start to notice objects around them like mobiles above beds, TVs, lamps tables etc. at 6months babies will start to explore toys passing them from one hand to the next and exploring it with their mouths too.
Babies will start to smile back at smiling faces at around 3 months at around 6 months babies start to show that they are understanding dome of what is being said for instance they may start to lift arms in the air to communicate that they would like to be picked up.
Babies at between 3 and 6 months will be settling into a good routine which will have a balance of both naptime and play time spending lots of time smiling and playing with carers
6-12 MONTHS
At this stage babies will be becoming mobile, crawling bum shuffling and at closer to 12 months maybe cruising using furniture to help stable themselves as they move around on their feet and possibly walking freely. Babies will becoming more independent at trying to feed themselves using
