1.) Efficiency and effectiveness – The purpose of efficiency & effectiveness is to obtain maximum value of resources available from the school or college to achieve high level of outcomes such as avoiding wastage of school resources & using school or college property effectively.

1. Equality Diversity Act 2010-
This term refers to differences in values, attitudes, cultures, beliefs, attitude of each & every individual in any groups of people .In any diverse workplace , it is important that all members or staff are treated equally. The main benefits of this will be that it will help to unite the work place, which will be motivating, effective & productive.

Data protection law in the UK defines the processing of data on living people with their identity. It is the main legislation in UK that governs the protection of personal data by law, that it cannot be leaked, shared or compromised by anyone. Any breaches of data protection must be dealt with punishable offences.
As a teacher I have always respected confidentiality & protection of data & abided by the act, because it creates a barrier that data must not be shared or disclosed to anyone or misused for any purpose, so any documents given to me by learners including initial assessment, I always locked it out of sight from any person given their confidentiality.

I believe being given the opportunity to instruct the youth of today and the leaders of tomorrow requires high moral and ethical standards to be met. Teachers, although they are still human, need to be held to a higher level of accountability than most other professions. We are not only being expected to instruct subject matter, but to set standards for the social ability of our students. This list of ethics would not only strengthen the profession, but society as a whole. I know it is difficult to enforce codes of ethics and morality, but as does a physician swear to hold up ethical standards, so should our teachers. Being entrusted with such a remarkable opportunity to mold our society…

Teachers serve several roles and each requires certain qualities. Essentially teachers accommodate the academic, social, and emotional needs of their students. This requires the aforementioned qualities to be exhibited consistently. When novice teachers begin teaching they possess a passion for their work. As time progresses that passion evolves into determination. The passion that an outstanding teacher has can reflect through their effectiveness. While in the classroom they have learned to adapt to various learning styles and classroom dynamics. Teaching is demanding in a variety of ways, which include time, effort, and commitment. A sense of selflessness also remains present, for these teachers overextend themselves in a productive manner to fulfill their objectives. In addition passionate teachers communicate with students and their parents, which creates a team effort to ensure progression. An outstanding teacher should also be a leader and good listener. Students seek teachers for guidance, so it is imperative that teachers display their leadership skills, while encouraging students to work towards guiding each other. As a leader one must be a responsible individual with integrity: take into account the views and concerns of others, and serve as mediators. Every outstanding teacher utilizes superior classroom management techniques. A healthy classroom environment should be safe, resourceful, and productive. By remaining organized with teaching aids and consistent with discipline measures, a system should be created in which students serve active roles in the classroom.
