Tesco is the UK's biggest food retailer offering a variety of services for food and nonfood products to include insurance, entertainment, electrical goods and many more. It employs over 440,000 people around the world with over 280,000 in the UK. It has over 2,000 stores in the UK and a growing number of stores abroad in countries such as Thailand, China, Hungary and the United States. Tesco is the biggest private sector employer in the UK and offers a competitive package of pay and benefits for all jobs, whether as assistants or managers in stores and depots. Tesco currently has over a 4% market share of a market worth 5 billion in the UK; their goal is to be as strong in non-food as in food. Our non-food offer now electrical, home entertainment, home shop, cooks shop and even and furniture in larger stores. Recently Tesco have focused on developing the brand into non-food and now stock electrical items, home entertainment, toys, sports equipment, cook shop and even lighting and furnishing in many of its larger stores.

The primary purpose of any business is to make money and invest if it doesn't do that, it can't exist. Tesco is a major retailer in grocery and general retailing. The purpose of Tesco is to supply a wide range of goods which it sells, both in store and online. It also offers financial services such as its own credit card, personal loans and various types of insurance, in addition to providing a home delivery service to its online shoppers.

Electronic Methods for communicating Business Information There are a range of different electronic methods for communicating business information that Tesco could use and one of them is by E-mail. With E-mails you can accept, deliver, store and forward messages. E-mails are not expensive because to be able use to e-mails you only need internet connection which nearly enough every business has.
