Unit 2 Nonverbal Communication Research Paper

Week 2 Discussion 2 “Nonverbal communication is defined as communication of message without words, which means that it encompasses a wide range of vocal and visual signs and behaviors” (Sole, 2011). My son tends to drive me nuts when I ask him to do something and he sits there arms crossed and rolls his eyes like he could care less. My son is also autistic so he rolls his hands a lot when he gets anxious but when I ask him if everything is okay it’s like he does it out of habit sometimes as well.
As far as myself, I tend to always stand in a way so it looks as though I have an attitude and/or in a bad mood. I also roll my eyes when I don’t agree or like what is being said and when I am annoyed you can definitely hear it in my tone of voice
