Unit 11-Safeguarding adults and promoting independence

In this assignment which is p6, I will be answering each question while taking a the risk of abuse and even how abuse can be reduce in order to has that sense of supportive relationship with healthcare worker and their service users’ while meeting their individual needs at all times.

P6- The role of supportive relationships

1. The core principles of care for vulnerable adults are the core principles to enable foster equality and diversity. Foster people’s right and responsibilities while maintaining confidentiality of information about that particular vulnerable adult or what they told them in confidence. Finally, help set minimum service e.g. like a task to enable the service providers work towards as a goal to ensure good equality and diversity as well as service. Vulnerable adults should always expect to be treated with respect and dignity always especially by their service providers, also equality, terms of the quality of care provided, but differently, terms of the quantity of care depending on their individual needs as service user’s.

2. Also what I know about the core principles for vulnerable adults is that vulnerable adults all need their privacy as the individuals and citizen they are due to their rights, having that confidentiality with or without their service provider to be respected at all times, this helps retain their rights that they feel is been overruled.

3. Actually according to Neil Moonie who stated that all professional relationships differ from any kind of personal relationship. Meanwhile, all professional who work with vulnerable adults should always work within their framework of values as professional they are, while including a clear duty of care, welfare of an individual. Neil Moonie very well believed that the relationship with professional and their service users always stay within the boundaries laid down in legislation.
