As known through the modern history nationally and internationally, the popular American culture is one of those new-adapted-founded cultures that includes aspects and ways of life of everyone in society including their attitudes, habits, actions the way they act, the food they eat and the clothes they wear, the buildings they design, traditions, habits, actions, faiths, politics, arts, sports, music (Wilson & Wilson 2001). To some people, the description of the popular America culture remains wide and open since it’s the way of life that all Americans adapt and create which includes the world we’re living in. Personally, to me popular American culture was limited to the right things that I have learned throughout my life from my Arabic and Islamic culture. Since popular American culture became a big trend after music and media became more famous, big part of my inventory had to do with those two categories. For example, in the past a few days I have looked through those patterns that had an effect and was adopted by Americans to be part of what represented us in-front of the international community. One of those patterns was soft rock music in which I have recorded while listening to KOST 103.5 FM the channel of soft rock. While searching through the history of this type of music in addition to other types of rock music, I found that they have started in the 1960’s when the American culture adopted it to be as one of the most recognized types of music. Another trend I have added to my list was when I walked in the mall and saw the Victoria Secret store and the fashion that was displayed outside, Victoria secret and other types of stores added their impact into the popular American culture in the 1990s’ by making their own fashion show which dragged over 1.5 million viewers to show their interest. While still walking in the mall, I noticed that many of the stores had the urban look in their fashion dolls which contained the baggy pants, long shirt, baseball hat...
