1. When organising a business event, describe the range of support activities that may be required. [1.1]

An event can be a small meeting or a large conference either. Some of them are in-house events but in other cases organising a venue externally can be very important. Bigger meetings usually require computers, screens, sound systems, etc. The required equipment depends on the type of the event. Occasionally we have to arrange for speakers to attend, for example for conferences and seminars, checking their attainability and fees. Providing suitable refreshments during the event is also very important, these can be water, tea, coffee or even complete meals, counting on special dietary requirements. Without preparing documentation the event can’t be successful, such as sending out invitations, brochures, menus, agendas, etc. Every event need to be publicised thus all the right people can attend.
