Type 1 Diabetes Effect

Diabetes affects a lot of people. My sister has it and family has a history of it as well. Many people need to learn about how it affects people and their lives. Diabetes is a disorder that affects your metabolism. It causes you to have high blood sugar. There are three main types of diabetes; type 1, type 2, and gestational. Type one is where your body does not produce insulin. Type 2 is where your body does not produce enough insulin to function and gestational only affects certain pregnant women, and only while they are pregnant. The symptoms vary but are mostly consistent to: having to pee all the time, if you have cuts and bruises that won’t heal and numbness and tingling in your hands and feet. There are some possible treatment for certain kinds of diabetes. For type 1 diabetes this is mostly causes by being highly over weight. To help combat this you can eat healthy, exercise regularly, and take insulin you can expect a normal life. For type 2 diabetes it’s not the same. It has some of the same treatments such as diet and exercise but you may have to take medication to control your insulin and just like the others, gestational diabetes can be controlled with healthy eating and regular exercise.
For some people it will be a little harder because it can be inherited. But if you can control what you eat and regularly exercise it will help. Try to stay away from carbs and sugary things because this also can contribute to whether or not you are going to get it. Diabetes affects many people but it can be prevented and treat able. Don’t be at risk for it take the time to eat right and exercise. Diabetes has taken over many people’s lives. One of those lives includes my older sister. It has three different types, type 1, and type 2 and gestational. All types are treatable
